A super example of a very rare early Victorian officers Sabretache; To the front 6cm of regimental lace, edge trimmed and background of plush yellow velvet, to the centre a large Quelphic Crown, beneath this a scroll worked ''V.R'' above a red velvet scroll with the battle honour ''PENINSULA'' all surrounded by heavy gold bullion wire garland of acorn's and oakleave's.
To the reverse document pouch and flap all covered in brown morrocco leather with gilded flap pouch button.
