1st VB, The Leicestershire Regiment, Victorian Home Service Pattern Officers Helmet. Named to Middleton on sweat band, silk interior mostly shot, Minor moth damage to the exterior and a few scuffs and scrapes, The Helmet Plate is stunning, Silver and Gilt, the helmet has two additional holes which may have had a differant plate attached, if so I would say it was during the period that the helmet was worn and is not recent.
