The helmet has a very faded name on the liner, P.V. MUS... the remaing letter need to be studdied in detail. Two of the rivets look like they are originaly from a Luftwaffe helmet due to their colour and were replaced sometime during the war however this is quite common, and does not let the piece down at all, It is a genuine veteran bring back, and has not been in the trade, purchased via a sale from a house clearance.
100% original Wartime Helmet in every regard except from what has been stated above, missing its chinstrap, over all a very good combat used historical peice of WW2 history.
